About Me

I’m Fredo — UX designer turned Business Product Manager. For 8+ years, I’ve been building digital products that solve real problems without making people want to throw their laptops out the window. I started in UX because I care about how things feel, then moved into product management because I wanted them to actually ship. Now I do both, which mostly means balancing empathy, metrics, and chaos — and loving every bit of it.

In 2025, I won a UX Design Award for HP AI Print, which was great, but not as satisfying as seeing a feature cut support calls by 35%. Numbers don’t lie, and neither do frustrated users — that’s why I’m obsessed with clarity, systems, and outcomes that actually matter.

Outside of work, I’m a trained French cook (Escuela Hofmann, Barcelona) who believes kitchens and product teams run on the same logic: prep, pressure, and teamwork. I’ve worked in bars and restaurants, which taught me that hospitality is just UX — with more fire and sharper knives.

I’m obsessed with food, wine, and sustainability, and still wander Catalonia’s markets talking to producers about how food systems could make more sense. I also collect vinyls, DJ small events, and make collages and photos when I remember that not everything needs a KPI.

I grew up on SimCity 2000, which might explain my love for systems thinking — I still believe most problems can be solved with better infrastructure, smart flow, and the occasional cheat code.

Based in Barcelona, fluent in English and Spanish, and always up for a good challenge — whether it’s debugging a roadmap or perfecting a cassoulet.
